I have to agree with you- I think that poor attendance at some recent events may well have been due to late advertising.

However in their defence the YM committee, like the rest of us, do have busy day jobs, personal lives to lead etc. and there are other constraints to consider which may not be known too far in advance (e.g. the availability of both Reuben and myself this year has been subject to separate doses "the Indian factor" which does inject a further level of uncertainty).
Definitely though I believe that there could and should have been earlier visibility of events. The YM AGM is held in January and they are always after volunteers to serve on the committee and undertake organization tasks for events, so there is a potential solution.....
