I was suggesting that you actually printed approx full size but in A3 sized portions.
You can generally use Adobe pdf reader to copy to a clip board and then paste into some other programme; if you view on screen and zoom so as it fills the height and then take such portions into something like Powerpoinyt and print each of those pages on an A3 printer then it works aout about right.
