CT Format- IRSE Recommended
#2
It occurred to me at the review that if there was a "standard" template that was permitted, was there an option for a "user" template. Exactly how this would work would need to be the subject of some careful thought since the examiners would have to be sure that if people were bringing sheets of their own paper containing details already on it, there was nothing other than normal table headings on it. Review by the invigilator before the exam session is one option, as is submitting the table to the office before for review and user templates sent to the centres with the other paperwork. Both have an admin overhead for exam centres. My view is that we run exam centres as a service to the candidate, so having to do a bit of extra work on the day should not cause centre organisers problems. Others may think differently and I appreciate that if the exam office gets clear feedback contradicting my thoughts, it may be a problem.
