what does colour of book mean. - AtifAman - 01-08-2019 Hi, I'm new in Railway signaling field study. I started recently. Going through different posts on this forum I found this concept of yellow, blue, brown etc. book. My question as a newbie is what these colour coding mean in railway. Creatively, the publications became knows by the colours. Same sort of relationship as UK government green and white papers for consultation and legislation proposals respectively; or Australian Green and Pink Slips for compulsory car insurance and vehicle inspections respectively. The original of Engineering Safety Management was yellow. Under HMRI, Railway Safety Principles and Guidance was blue. Not sure what brown was. Remember though, Red for Danger. |
