Got my result today I failed but will be back with Module 2 and Module 3 rebound for 2011.

Sorry to hear that Merlin. I got my letter this morning, didn't expect to see it until the new year but I passed modules 1 & 5. Thanks to everyone on here that has given their time to help me. Will be attempting 2 & 3 next year.

How u people got the results? Is it by post or thru mail? Can we see our results this time by mail?

Arrived in the post on Christmas eve. Have heard of one other received in York.

I got my result today. Got a Credit for Module 5 and a Pass for Module 7.
Thanks to this forum, especially PJW and Peter for their guidance and all the other members who have revised and attempted with me.

Well done; I guess that that is you finished with the examination now, so your next step is to assess where you stand re Responsible Experience in order to apply for MIRSE.

I hope though that you'll still visit the Forum to give help and advice to those following in your footsteps.

Well done.

We are hoping that we had a successful commissioning at Reading (in the nick of time at 05:00 today) after a battle royal over the period from Christmas Eve. However it has been an odd day "on cover" as the line is once again under full possession for the bridge works, with not a train (except the test train) having run. Part of the layout becomes operational tomorrow but we won't really know how things are until Tuesday!
Like some exam cadidates, we are still in suspense with fingers crossed

Results arrived today, a pass in module 1 & 7. A big thankyou to everyone who posted both information and attempted answers in these modules, without which i would never have passed. A special thanks to Peter who guided me in the right direction. I will now attempt modules 3&7 so heres hoping.
